GCSE Exams Results Day

Shavington Academy is extremely proud of our pupils today as they receive their GCSE results. The outcomes they have achieved is a testament to each and every one of them. We have to recognise the journey the Class of 2023 has experienced and the hard work and resilience they’ve shown to achieve the fantastic qualifications they have.

Here at Shavington GCSE results day is more than grades for our pupils, it is the start of the next phase of their journey into further education and training and an opportunity for us to celebrate this with them. All of the staff at the Academy are immensely proud of every pupil and their own individual achievements. We must however acknowledge the following pupils as they secured grade 7-9 in at least 9 GCSE subjects: Lucy Baron, Ben Stockton, Laney Griffiths, Jacob Tittensor, Molly O’Riordan, Jessica Shaw, Harrison Owen, William Machin, Jasmine Lau and Evelyn Coote. They should all be so proud of their dedication and hard work.

Headteacher, Emma Casewell said:

The educational journey the Class of 2023, like others in recent years, has been one that no one could have ever predicted and the way that they have performed is exceptional. Once again, pupils have stood up to so many challenges and shown their determination to succeed. It is important that pupils do remember that they are more than a grade. They are all exceptional, inspiring and talented young people, and we are all extremely proud of them. We wish them all the very best for the next phase of their journey and look forward to seeing them achieve great success.
