Friday 6 December 2024 Shavington Spirit So many of our pupils embody what we call SPARK or the Shavington Spirit and none more than Noah who in Year 11 who has used his artistic and entrepreneurial skills to design and create a series of cards that are now on sale at Cheerbrook Farm Shop. Wednesday 6 March 2024 Gymnastics British Championships Here we have 5 very talented gymnasts: Ella in Year 8, Mia in Year 11, Alisha and Summer in Year 10, and Heidi in Year 9, who all achieved gold medals last weekend representing LS Gymnastics Crewe Academy at the British Championships.

Monday 4 March 2024 History Quality Mark Gold At the end of last year the History Faculty went through an assessment procedure and have subsequently been awarded the Quality Mark Gold Award by the Historical Association - one of only 29 secondary schools to ever be recognised at this level.

Tuesday 6 February 2024 Cross Country Update Well done, to all the Cross Country runners who ran on Saturday at Winsford. There were some excellent performances in muddy conditions. A special mention goes to Bethany in Year 7 who came 5th and has now got through to the next round to run for Cheshire.

Tuesday 6 February 2024 Ancient History Cambridge University Trip At the end of January, 23 Ancient History pupils from years 10 and 11 travelled to Cambridge University for the day. The morning was spent discussing the pros and cons of ancient forms of democracy, monarchy and oligarchy through the use of ancient authors.
