The 2017 – 2018 Academy Council Team

At Shavington Academy, we place high importance on our student voice and Academy Council. Each form across the school has one or two council representatives, who attend regular academy council meetings facilitated by Miss Talbot – Teacher of PE, and feedback to their form groups. Miss Talbot then follows up any necessary points with members of the Senior Leadership Team.

We are very excited to develop our ideas this year within the Academy Council, with the guidance of Miss Talbot.

Our first events:

Christmas Jumper Day – Friday 15TH December 2017

50% of the money raised will go to the charity MIND and 50% of the money raised will go towards projects led by the Academy Council.

To make the Academy Council successful for all at Shavington Academy please ensure you are communicating your suggestions and ideas within your forms, to enable this to be voiced at our meetings.
